Halibut
Perhaps you want to help catch dinner or you want to add
halibut to your list of species caught on a fly. Regardless
of your motivation, our close proximity to the ocean allows
the chance to chase halibut - on a fly or conventional tackle
- when the conditions are calm.
Halibut fishing is not a main focus of our fishing program,
but the oppotunity is there. Whether it's a serious pursuit
or just for a change of pace, these monsters are sure to give
your arm and back a work out! Most fish we pursue in our shallow
bay system run 5 to 25 pounds, but we have definitely seen
some 75 pound+ fish pulled up to the boat!
We'll provide the tackle for the halibut fishing.
